What a dumpster fire they have become at the end of the season!
What a dumpster fire they have become at the end of the season!
Loser 4 of the last 5 games, now down 24-0 vs giants

Proving that Matt Patricia is never the answer to anything good.
I wonder if he's still trying to use a pencil on a laminated plastic sheet?

They have completely fallen apart.

Watching the Eagles defense is an activity that should make everyone appreciate Tomlin, Austin, and the rest of the defensive staff far far more.
The Iggles are having lots of trouble with injuries and bad play in their secondary. Like they might be interested in Pierre and Wallace bad. All that Patricia has been able to come up with is to drop his top two pass rushers into coverage.
Honestly, seeing the Eagles flail around with basically the same issues as the Steelers (really nice pass rush, poor top mediocre coverage) last few seasons....makes me wonder if Austin isn't a bit smarter than he gets credit for here.

When the coach goes from a genius to an idiot...
Jonathan Gannon must be laughing like crazy since many in Philadelphia thought he was a problem in the last 2 years when their defense had some struggle by moment
For Austin I'm not the biggest fan of Austin but at the same time, he's not terrible and he has some quality, like the Steelers are great for turnovers on defense since he's been on our staff
And the Steelers were 6th in PPG despite the injuries in the middle of the field and also our poor offense which had so many 3 and outs for so many games, so yes he deserves some credit...He's not Jim Schwartz but he's not Joe Woods or Matt Patricia for sure too!

There were some people here boasting how great the Eagles defense was earlier this season…their run defense was good as they were giving up 66 yards per game. Now they are giving up 145 yards per game. Their pass defense has been horrendous all season…
When they were 10-1, they could’ve easily been 2-9, 3-8 at the same time.

If they lose to Tampa they will be the 2020 Steelers all over again
I also thought they would be in the running for the NFC championship but never thought they would have an epic collapse

Collapse complete!

I think they paid Hurts too soon and too much. He’s second tier but taking up tier one salary cap.

You are likely totally correct. I was shocked at how poorly he handles pressure. I thought after Bowles undressed him in the playoffs a few years ago, that had been fixed. But, Bowles returned and demonstrated not so much.
Maybe the "magic ingredient" was the guy coaching the Colts right now?

His team has been no showing for quite some time now. Living in that area, that team could’ve easily been 3-8, 2-9 opposed to 10-1. Very easily. They really haven’t played well all year. The breaks went their way the first half and the other way/collapsed the second half…
Sirianni is very chirldlish and emotional to the point that it’s annoying and both coordinators aren’t good. I’m not sure, at this stage, that I would want the Steelers to seriously interview anyone from that staff if Tomlin were to step down or depart…
I think this collapse is way worst that the one of the steelers in 2020....At least the steelers had some good excuse and the steelers were not supposed to be that good too, record wise...The eagles may have had the worst and most improbable collapse in NFL history.Losing at home vs cardinals with homefield and division on the line is just all-time bad
