I don't think it makes much of a difference who is under center. This is who the Steelers are. Mediocre. Doing just the bare minimum to not be terrible, but they are not going anywhere.

It’s a dynamic situation. MR earned the start IMO. But we need a spark and it’s do or die.

The one advantage Mason has over Pickett is that he goes through his progressions faster, which is something, and fine against horrible defenses, but it certainly isn’t playoff caliber QB play.

I’d honestly take Pickett and his growing pains because he can certainly improve on his progressions. But he’s not a statue and he rarely turns the ball over. He’s also capable of creating magic in the 4th quarter when necessary.

If by some miracle we make the playoffs I’d absolutely go with Pickett. At least to give him playoff experience. We’re not going to the superbowl either way

Agree 100%. If Pickett is your guy next year you have to give him the ball IF we somehow make it.
