Why did we waste three weeks on Trubisky? Running game opens up when defenses are worried about the deep pass
Ok, so we're not really trying to score as we let the clock run down despite completing passes.
The only reason I can think of is that Trubisky is well paid for a backup, so they felt like they had to give him a shot, but yeah, the Steelers would likely be in a better position had Rudolph played those games
So it looks like MR is a decent backup after all
And Trustinky is the backup in this game, let's hope Rudolph stays healthy

Yes, I've always thought he can be a very good backup. I hope they bring him back and cut Trubisky in the offseason. I do not think they are going to draft a QB early, and will draft for oline and secondary help in earlier rounds.
