    TJ’s Leadership Style?

Is anyone aware of what kind of leader TJ is? Is he a lead by example guy only, or does he get vocal? You always hear about Cam speaking up, or Minkah more recently. I don’t know that I’ve ever heard about or witnessed TJ in that role. But I could be missing it. Does anyone have any insight on this? Whatever kind of leadership style he has, it’s sorely needed by the young guys on this team.

So, apparently no one else knows either.

Who knows how things are behind closed doors but he seems like a "lead by example" leader.

It's young people in general. They've spent to much time texting and not enough getting outside and meeting people and interacting.

He seems like a pump you up guy and backs his words with his play type of guy. Similar to JJ.

I can't speculate on what is said in the locker room but the current leaders: Cam/Minkah/TJ are very different from Potsie/Peazy/Bettis crew of 04-05. Those guys partied hard but refused to let anyone destroy their locker room and weren't afraid to call people out.

Are all teams in similar situations?

    I suppose so.

But after watching that post playoff speech vs Indy in 05 a thousand times, you could clearly see Bettis was a leader in the locker room.

Greg Lloyd after the 95 AFCC game, cussing on live TV, who is going to not follow that guy??

I've never seen any current Steelers give that type of speech.
