At least we know Kenny is definitely and upgrade over these other clowns. He's the only one I'd carry into next year.

I wouldn't say that at all. It's not like Rudolph was given the same chance.

Another high draft pick for QB in 2024

No…he was given more of a chance…and failed. Multiple times.

he would likely be the #3 here and they wouldn't play him because they cant seem to recognize ability ....

If a QB is good, you know it from more than just in-game experience. How many games did Brett Favre play before Green Bay decided to trade for him? Rudolph has had 6 years to show he can play NFL QB. What QBs have played 5 years and then clicked in their 6th year to be a viable starting QB?

I told you guys. Josh Dobbs just never got a chance with the Steelers to play in games and prove that he was a great QB. Now that he is getting "game experience" in the NFL, we can see that Steelers should not have released him because he is good at holding a clipboard.

Now lets talk about Duck Hodges wasted talent...

I'd add that they have all done as well as some first round QBs. I'd draft a QB every year and also add an UDFA, until I had, for sure, a 10-year franchise QB.

Mitch and an unknown were brought in and elevated above Rudy. At the time it looked ok, but now that decision is looking like a dumpster fire in itself. Seems MR is the one putting in the most work and improving . It’s certainly not Mitch and KP is still an unknown and maybe the battering is getting to him.

Some people seem to think a QB can’t improve but so far MR is proving them wrong. I don’t think it’s a one game thing, MR looks more decisive than before, if anything his timing on those deep passes could get better the more he plays.

Com'on now, yinz telling me, none of yinz see it except for NCSteeler? We have no idea who Kenny, Mason, Mitch, Duck, Josh Dobbs, Oldakun, etc., etc. is??? Or could be? The Steelers QB coaches have ruined everybody they touched....Sullivan, Canada & Fictner. You can say, ever since "Cowher's Coaches" departed, there is NOT ONE QB success story that has come thru Pgh.

I'm not even talking or hinting close too a pro bowl, all pro, franchise, hall of fame success story. I am talking a very slight, have to squint to see; skill &/or career accession from the day they arrived to the day the left our coaching staff. NAME ONE QB this "band of bozos" coached up, even slightly? Hell, these losers are so bad, they dragged an 18 year hall-of-famer into the abyss. If you can name a bad QB coached up to serviceable, a serviceable QB coached up to mediocre, a mediocre QB coached up to decent, decent coached to good (you get the idea). NOT a SINGLE QB had a career "plane" up/upward under these Tomlin era QB coaches. Not even a got lucky "onesie/outlier". Thats what happens when you hire coaches, who the players know more than & have a higher "position" IQ. Name one? Betcha can't.

Now, play the same "Name One" game with the Tight Ends coach?

Play the same game with the current Running Back coach?

Play the same game with the current Wide Receiver coach?

Now you know the teams problem since Cowher's coaches have moved on. No different from when a company hires a new perceived "young gun" instead of the most experienced, most deserving person for a promotion at work. Descention, frustration, loss of morale, productivity decline. This team needs to hire some real coaches. Then you can make good, well informed evaluations or determinations of players. Until then, we are just talking out of our asses.
