I hate to beat a dead horse here, but I've been saying this all season. Pickett is constantly having to reach for the ball or make ridiculous saves of bad snaps. He has to take his eyes off the field, plus it throws off the timing of the play.
This team has a hard enough time scoring when they get three downs to do it. They can't be throwing away downs with bad plays because a guy can't snap the football.
It has gotten so bad that Cole is literally killing the offense. Killing the team today.
I don't even know what else to say about it. It can't be allowed to continue.
Im no NFL GM but I think a center should know how to snap a football.

Sure. But he has his flaws. They all do.
There is a reason why there former teams let them walk out of town. And there is a reason that the Steelers were not exactly in bidding wars to secure these guys services.
I actually like many of those players....but I do not have high expectations nor do I get surprised when they reveal the flaws in their game that got them here.

Walker is not making mistakes. He is physically not capable of covering McBride.
Cole did not make a mistake. He is not physically a good snapper of the football. It has been going on for a season plus now.
Porter is not making a mistake. Grabbing guys is a fundamental part of his game. He's going to draw a number of penalties over the course of his career. It is just how he plays.
Some people just come in here to watch other people "cry" but what's funny is they are mistaking crying for someone actually telling you the truth. Every Steelers fan I know sees these games as Tomlin's specials where they lose to a much less talented team who just has a win or 2. This has been going on for years so it's not "crying" it's someone actually paying attention to what in the actual hell this team does year after year for a long time now. Yes we want them to win but these games get circled on my calendar every year. Just call it what it is, play shittier than an obvious shitty team.
