Canada was hired by someone and kept on by a certain someone, and saw his body of work was acceptable and worth keeping for two seasons. He was a major problem, but not the main problem.

Our center snaps is low and they recover a fumble.
Their quarterback misses a handoff so he flips it to the running back that wasn't looking for the ball.....and they recover it.
A couple plays later their running back fumbles and the ball bounces at an angle so that he could get it before the defenders could get there.

If Watt goes down, the season is probably over. This defense struggles with him taking up at least 2 defenders on every play.
