I’m not sure there are guidelines for wearing things under the uniform. Herbig, had that in mind. He is celebrating his teammates….and poking fun at the home office. Nice touch!

An article about this as well somewhere or other earlier today made it sound like the stylized ones are worn in practice and then regulation ones are worn for games.

Article mentioned that the NFL mandates thigh pads for games, but most players hate them and wouldn't practice with them in. Owner of the company claims his are better and now players want to wear them during practice.

But that top photo sure looks like gameday....so what the heck do I know?

Believe me, I know this was thought out and done with the best intentions. It's actually awesome!

I'm sure Herbig checked but I'm also sure that if this gets too much attention and other teams start to do it, the NFL will make a new rule. It's what those idiots do.

They definitely wear custom ones on gamedays. I’ve seen them in games on players from other teams as well. A lot of times they will have their number on them…a single digit on each leg.

Juju had ones with Steelers logos on them.

Kyler Murray had Bruce Lee ones during a game.
