Good lord, the absolute irony of Brady railing on all the rules protecting offensive players. He's a HUGE reason for all the bullshit ticky-tack roughing the passer calls that are being made now to begin with.
"Back in my day, we played REAL HE-MAN football!" This coming from a guy who could be seen screaming at the refs to throw a flag practically every time an opposing defensive player so much as breathed on him (and far too often got it CUZ HE WUZ DA BESSED EVUUURRR!!!) and who also wouldn't have lasted 10 minutes in Montana's era or managed to last 5 in Unitas'. Give me a break.
Exhibit A:
Wanna talk about mediocrity? The guy played in the AFC (L)East for 20 years. His team had an almost automatic 6 wins on an annual basis as soon as the schedule was drawn up and usually had the division title wrapped up (and at the lowest, a #2 seed) by week 11 year in and year out due to the rest of the sad sacks in that division.
Frankly, I would love to hear this guy's take on the "new and improved" and "modern" NFL since according to more than a few people here, he supposedly played back during the NFL's Stone Age:
Bottom line: The NFL peaked in the '70s and '80s and has been in a long slow decline ever since.

Two of his rings came as a result of Pete Carroll (biggest overrated hack ever) being an offensive "genius" at the goalline and Atlanta refusing to run the football even once in the 4th quarter.Good lord, the absolute irony of Brady railing on all the rules protecting offensive players. Bill Belichick: Lord of the Rings

Brady will never be as great as Joe Montana. Brady literally had the refs in his pocket to the point they made up bullshit rules on the spot to help him out. He's the only QB i ever seen who had flags thrown for unnecessary roughness when he literally wasn't even touched. Every time he bitched to the refs they always threw late PI calls to stop him from having one of his immature toddler-like tantrums.
Meanwhile Joe played against killers who were allowed to do this to him, and NO flags were called.
This is when real men used to play football. Not so much anymore, and you have Tom Brady really to thank for that. His career got extended because he wasn't allowed to be hit. There's a reason why you never seen QB's in their late 30's playing the game anymore before the 2000's.

He’s lucky he didn’t play in the 70’s or 80’s. He’d be another Ken O Brien
The Steelers got their Lombardi’s at the height of the NFL when football was real. Not this watered down crap that they play now. You guys get your asterisks also. I wouldn’t trade one championship from that era for two in the modern watered down era.
Ken O’Brien…and I’m being generous to Brady.
The irony, when Brady was the poster boy for better living through chemistry. HGH milkshake, anyone?
Alex Guerrero: Julian Edelman PED suspension is “disappointing”When news broke that Patriots receiver Julian Edelman is facing a four-game suspension for performance-enhancing drugs, there was an immediate focus on Alex Guerrero, the trainer who is best known for his work with Tom Brady but also works with Edelman. Boston media have already portrayed the Edelman suspension as a sign that Bill Belichick is right to distance the team from Guerrero.
ZOMG! Roided-up monsters!

Forget it, it's over, we're the top dog.

1. New England Patriots (2001-18)
No dynasty can match what the Patriots put together during the first two decades of the millennium. In all, Bill Belichick's team won six Super Bowls, nine AFC titles, and 17 division titles. The Patriots also completed the only 16-0 regular season in NFL history in 2007.
Why they're No. 1: The Patriots' sustained success is remarkable considering it took place during the NFL's salary cap era. New England also overcame a slew of worthy competitors that includes Peyton Manning'sBroncos and Colts, as well as Ben Roethlisberger's Steelers. Patriots detractors can point to the team playing in the underwhelming AFC East along with the fact that they endured Spygate and Deflategate. Controversies aside, no one can argue with the Patriots' unparalleled success.
