Jaylen Warren and nobody else

Defense allowed only 13 points, I wouldn't say it was a team loss as much as just having total ineptitude on offense

Defense did all they could do. Offense just sucks. Minus a really solid run by warren it's totally fucked

Came down to defensive play. Browns were lights out with constant pressure and coverage.
The offense has problems but Pickett is horrific. He has gotten worse the last few weeks.
I keep holding out optimism that this offense is going to start clicking and putting up points, but it's starting to seem like the offense is what it is. The running game was OK, but the negative yards on first down are absolute drive killers. The offense literally is not capable of converting anything over 10 yards.
The lack of discipline is inexcusable. Too many mental errors week in and week out...Missed assignments/receivers not on the same page as KP...Not knowing when a heavy blitz is coming.
Canada sucks...KP is nothing more than a game manager and that's all he will be until Canada is gone, but Mike Tomlin needs to be taking more heat for these performances. Week in and week out it's the same bullshit.
Goats: Tomlin. Canada. Pickett. Take your pick, but I'd go with all three of them. The team came out flat and looking unprepared once again, this time against a backup rookie QB.
Whoever decided to have NH run the ball on that critical series in the 4th Qtr when the Steelers were in, or near, FG territory seriously needs to quit, like right now. That is where the game was lost. NH gets stuffed and loses yards, now it's 3rd and long. The game is on the line right there. Why the hell do you not have Warren in there? Put Canada back in the booth, except this time, make it the dunking variety.
As for Pickett, I've been saying I think he deserves a chance to see how he might play without Canada as OC. After today, I honestly think both should go. I saw throws that left me absolutely gobsmacked. I saw more running into the pursuing defense. I just don't think the guy has it. Every time I see the guy standing in the shotgun, I think, God, he looks small. There's no way he's 6'3"... he had so many passes tipped or batted down today. Every rookie QB he's played against this season, regardless of winning or losing, has looked infinitely better throughout the course of the game vs. merely one quarter.
Today, the offense reverted back to last year's philosophy of running and throwing to the sidelines almost exclusively, despite there being no points gained from breaking those lines. Take away Warren's big run, and this offense did absolutely nothing. He's the only one who earned a game ball.
All that being said, kudos to the Browns. They showed up. They were motivated. They played better. They won. It's a pretty simple recipe.
One last point; ask yourself this: do the Steelers REALLY want to win? Do they really want to win NOW? It's hard to say yes in light of the Bills, sitting at 5-5 with as much as any reason as anyone else to make excuses because of all their injuries and canning their offensive coordinator this last week. They obviously expect to win and have made changes in an attempt to deter the path they're on. The Steelers won't. For a team that is 13-6 over its last 19 games, one can only wonder what it might resemble had someone had the fortitude not to accept the status quo.
Goat: Tomlin, as usual.
Hater = Realist
Elandon Roberts with 15 tackles, 2 TFL. He was fantastic tackling in the open field.
The running game is legit. Browns are one of the best at stopping the run and they ran on them despite not being able to throw. Give Warren a contract.
I don't mind that. Just keep the pipeline full and hope someone pans out.
But the impact of other positions versus RB and TE was just too out of whack.
And I actually think Harris is the best RB on the roster and don't hate PF as a player...I just don't think he can impact more than what other options might have been....
If their draft had been one of the centers and Alim McNeil at DT....how does that look compared? Or one of the centers and well....the list of DBs from that draft is kinda not great....so whatever....Harris and PF are likely fine....just annoying more than anything.
Goats: 2min offense, 2min defense, 2min play calling.
GameBall: ST
"There's just a lot of stuff that goes around that just you guys don't see. That's what I'm kind staying. I'm just at a point, man, it's just like, I'm tired of this shit."
Hero: Warren, and Roberts, and the third and fourth string safeties for no one noticing they were out there.
Goats: Cole, Moore, and Canada. That was just awful. If Canada asks a TE to walk down and block a pass rushing DE after seeing them all fail at it for 10 weeks now, someone should beat him to death with a set of shoulder pads. I’ll throw Pat Meyers for that debacle as well.
