It was a blitz, so he didn't have time to look over the field. That's what you are supposed to do against a blitz. I just don't know who made the mistake on the play, DJ or Pickett. DJ came inside and Pickett threw it outside. Was that a hot route? Who the fuck knows in this offense. It's a mess.

It is a mess. But NEVER moving your eyes just makes the defense play even faster.

Ben used to look elsewhere then go to the hot. All while he was moving.

It’s possible to do something besides just stare at your target from when you break the huddle.

Why can the Browns execute a screen that actually gives the back a chance to do something and the Steelers can't? Why do the Browns have blockers in front of those plays to the outside and screens and the Steelers don't? Why do the Browns OL know how to engage the DL just enough to delay them a bit, and then release them on screen passes while the Steelers can't. It sure as shit looks an awful lot like bad coaching to me.
