The amazing thing is that Trubisky is a veteran, yet ever since the clock became a factor he has exclusively thrown to the middle of the field to burn clock. It's not like he led them down the field for any points. It's an approach from a player that knows better than that....but he does it anyway.

    How appropriate.

I feel for the D. They played well enough to win if we had an average NFL offense.

What a barn burner in NYC. 10-10 overtime game.

When Pickett went down. We were finished. I don't think he'll be back in time for Thursday Night.

The best we can hope for is the injuries aren't too bad.

Trubisky doesn't know better than that. That's always been his problem. He has (or had) a tantalizing set of physical tools. Put up some good college numbers for one season with them. Then just demonstrated zero feel or head for the game throughout his pro career. Combine that with atrocious decision making and you have the full Trubisky experience.

If KP is out next week, there is a about 50-50 chance that "Randomly Amazing Mitchell Trubisky" shows up. And he goes on a heater for 3 quarters and hangs 30 on someone.

But overall, he just never developed any sense or tangible knowledge for the game.

Meh…at this point I’d rather see losses than wins. Something need to change and it appears that, maybe, only losses will do that.

    I mean, why not?

What is the point in making it in as the last WC and then getting bounced? What does that help? As a fan...I would far rather continue the actual rebuilding process than have this team fool itself into thinking they are ready to go.

He should sit out Thursday night. Too quick a turnaround for rib injuries.

Mitch should just run the ball himself. Better chance of keeping drives alive with his legs than with his accuracy to the other team's DBs.

Anyone miss Levi Wallace out there today?

I know Pierre had his struggles...but in all seriousness, did it fell "lesser" on defense with Wallace not playing?

If he wants to give the team the best chance to win, he should throw himself down a flight of stairs until he breaks something. Then Rudolph would be forced into action. That isn't pretty either. But it is "better" than Trubisky playing.

Would’ve made zero difference had Wallace been out there. Looked exactly the same.

Jags had more passing yards than the Rams so it still looked like the same leaky pass defense without Wallace than with. But when your offense coordinator sucks and has 3rd and forever on every series then more chances for the other team.

If I was on the defense I'd be pissed every damn week.

I agree it certainly wasn’t worse without Wallace.

So on my version of the team, he’s benched. Pierre and Rush get his snaps.

Last chances for Pierre to show he can be more than a ST maven and needed experience for Rush.
