    Heroes/Goats vs Raiders

Steelers first win on the road against the Raiders since 1995.

Heroes: Pickett, Pickens, Levi Wallace with a good bounceback game.

Goats: Zebras keeping Raiders in it with horrid penalty.

I unironically believe Harvin has been a big difference between being 2-1 instead of potentially 0-3 (thanks to his performance tonight and against the Browns)

Harvin is good just erratic. He is just as likely to pin one on the 5 as he is to shank it when you really need hin

Heros - Bennet when we really needed it. Kenny played a good game and Levi played solid.

Goats- all I got is refs

The drive that led to the Freiermuth TD was fantastic. Looked like a legit NFL offense, not so much after that.

While I won't say either is a hero, shoutout to d'line and middle linebackers. The d'line was solid against the run. And that was the best game by the middle linebackers save for the one PI.

I think our pass rush had Jimmy G spooked and caused some bad throws. So front 7 were heroes even when they didn’t quite get there. Also held the Raiders to 69 yards rushing.

And congrats to the rookie Benton. Nice to see the kid make a nice move and get the sack. He’s quick for a 300 pounder.

Heroes: Good overall team effort, but good bounce backs from Pickett and Wallace. Harvin also played great. Boswell was money like always. WATT looks like he's on pace for another defensive MVP season
Goats: The refs were doing nearly everything they could to get the Raiders back in the game. The Unnecessary roughness call on Minkah was BS and even more so the PI on the uncatchable ball

    Re: Heroes/Goats vs Raiders

A step in the right direction. There is a lot to clean up. In my mind no heroes and the goats are the refs. Harvin has punted out of his mind the last 2 games. Field position is huge. Im far from being sold with this team. We beat a bad team which is what we should be doing but lets pump the brakes. Defense has been the bright spot especially the D line and linebackers. Secondary still plays soft and the middle of the field is ALWAYS open against us. That's gonna get exploited repeatedly by good offenses. All in all, nice to squeak out another win. Dont mean to be so negative but until we beat a really good team we are still looking at a 7-10 up to a 9-8 squad. Let's keep getting better!

Some play action and roll outs by Pickett, I’m stunned. Canada stole some pages from a high school playbook, finally

Hell, there even some points where we he had some middling college level plays and (astonishingly enough) a pick play.

Heroes the entire team, even Crapnada.

Goats are the Refs for trying to keep the Raiders in it at the end.

Good total team effort, even a nod to Canada who still needs to be fired.

It was good to see Kenny loosen up and not play scared. He may never be able to carry the team on his back like Ben, but I think with a good supporting cast and good coaching (see previous statement) he will be fine. He just needs some acting classes so he can get the calls, too.

And I still think Ben was in Canada's ear calling the plays because no way was that his playbook.

    And the refs..up yours.

    Re: Heroes/Goats vs Raiders

Haven't seen Harvin mentioned, but he had some really nice punts that really helped with field position.

Not to mention Boz with the 57-yarder, as well as being money as usual otherwise.

Nice to have a decent kicking game for a change. The Steelers haven't had that often. Even back in the '70s at the height of the Steel Curtain days, the kicking game was often abhorrent. Hopefully, Harvin can keep it up and put the issues with consistency he's had in the past in the rear-view mirror once and for all.

It's also nice to be on top of the division (with tiebreakers) even if it is early, especially after that egg they laid on opening day.
