Sack of Deshaun Watson gives Watt 81.5 career sacks and gives him the All-Time lead in a Steelers Uniform!

Best in the bizness. Congrats, TJ. A job well done.![]()
Kenny Pickett is who I though he was .. Eagles didn't value him either , now he is a Stain at the Mistake by the Lake 3 teams in 4 years more of a shooting star than a superstar
JJ, just unretire and ride shotgun for your brother.
JJ is like 40% of what he once was (the best defensive player on the planet) but can you imagine those two running stunts for each other?
Good job Stains Rookie.

TJ is monster and a game changer. There’s a reason why we hardly ever win when he’s out.
That said, gotta hand it to his running partner, Highsmith, as well. That dude was at least partly responsible for two TDs tonight.
indeed. highsmiths growth from season to season has been great to watch. the fact that he wasn't a top player at his position when he entered the nfl speaks volumes about his work ethic and drive. he should be a shining example for all mid round draft picks. hopefully his ceiling is a little higher, but if he is topped out at where he is now, we cant complain since he has exceeded expectations.

81.5 sacks in 89 games. Deebo was 80.5 sacks in over 170 games. You look at all the other guys on the top list and they are all three digit games. What he accomplished here is pretty crazy

Considering Steelers teams and defensive stars of yore, this is an amazing stat. No matter how great Watt is (and he certainly is), to be the all-time sack leader of a team who had some killer defenses is an accomplishment.
HIghsmith was tremendous, but the thing everyone needs to remember is that Highsmith is getting single blocked because of the force of nature on the other side of the line. TJ Watt was double and triple teamed all night, plus they would shift protections his way, plus they ran the ball away from him...especially after Chubb went down. They were just sending a TE at him on every passing down, then he had to deal with the tackle and sometimes a chip from a back.
It was a demonstration of how great players create opportunities for everyone else because of the amount of attention they demand.
But, TJ is only #4 in Edge Rushers according to Fox Sports.![]()
dude is in beast mode as soon as he gets on the field non stop motor
For those i love i will sacrifice.
Si ventus non est, remiga
Imagine having TJ Watt on one side and an in-his-prime James Harrison on the other. But then I might as well just put Mean Joe on the line and Blount and Woodson at the corners. What a wealth of defensive talent we've had.
He should have already been the leader, as well as the single-season record holder, if not for the shitty Ravens scorekeeper taking a sack away, which was inexplicably never reinstated.
See you Space Cowboy ...
The Watt brothers, Joe Green, et al, are all right but they're not Lawrence Taylor.
Taylor recorded 132.5 quarterback sacks (not including 9.5 sacks he recorded in 1981, since the sack didn't become an official NFL statistic until 1982), 1,088 tackles, 33 forced fumbles, 10 fumble recoveries, and nine interceptions during his career.
