Maybe the playcalling isn’t doing anything to help mitigate the problems, but it is not causing them. If you put Mr Irrelevant and the SF offense on the field with the exact same calls and I guarantee they’d be doing better.

Like I said, he sucks but those plays are also covered like a blanket and he is throwing the ball there regardless because that’s the one read offense we’ve seen for the last 4 years.

Pickett hardly ever puts any air under the ball, just fires it. No touch whatsoever. I know a lot of throws are contested but damn, give yours guys a chance to catch it.
