    Giants Week

Well, we are at 5-2 and the Giants are next up. I feel like a top D1 college could beat the Giants this season, so we will probably lose . . .

In all honesty, I think we can open up the offense a little more with Russ and should put up another 30pt game. Maybe get the OL more comfortable before the Commanders, bye and the hard part of our schedule. I was hopeful Russ would be able to play like he did last week, so if he can stack another good performance this week and keep drives going so our Def can stay fresh we should have no issues putting this game away.

    32-16 good guys

We should win this game easily, but it does seem like one of those games we often lose. I would never say one game is less important than another, especially with the way the Ravens are playing and the Bungles breathing down out necks. I will say this though - any players who are week to week or just have nagging injuries that could use a couple weeks rest should just sit this week, imo. Maybe I am overthinking it, but I'd like to be as healthy as possible coming out of the bye.

I wouldn't sit anyone that doesn't need it. You can limit snaps in-game depending on how the game is going. My hope is Russ picks right up where he left off last Sunday. The offense keeps rolling and the defense continues to be stingy with points allowed. Keep your foot on the gas.

They have a bye week coming up. This is kind of a must win game as all will be from here on out. Wouldn’t sit anyone…except Roman Wilson??

For the record I wasn't talking about sitting healthy players. I just meant that maybe giving a week-to-week player extra time besides the bye week might be something to consider.

    Idea went over like.

Steelers will put it away by the half and Fields will go in to close the game in the 4th quarter. I expect more turnovers and Russell Wilson to connect more with the TE.

    Re: Giants Week

Russ needs the snaps so I think he will play all game. OL needs as much time as possible together as possible before hitting the hard part of our schedule. But I understand what you are saying with sitting some people if the extra week means the difference between 80% and 100%.

TJ is overdue for some sacks. I’m putting him down for 3.

I think teams have decided TJ is not gonna beat them, so scheming him out of the game. Problem for them is this defense has too many playmakers to just scheme to stop one. More a death by a thousand cuts than just death by TJ if you ask me.

This is one of those games where you feel so good about the team, they're rolling, their opponent isn't very good (like the Giants) and then the Steelers just lay an egg and Tomlin makes several stupid decisions.

    PROVE US WRONG TOMLIN!

I have a feeling that if this game were played yesterday, we would have lost. Too many crazy upsets. Now, the team can look at the failure of others and take heed. Steelers 35 Giants 16.

Steelers are different this year. In the past this would have been a trap game. Wilson is a good leader and will not allow the team to sleepwalk to a loss to a lower team.

Like usual, I'll have the game on but I'll be listening to music watching the game. I've given up on commentators completely.
