    Jets planning to release WR Denzel Mims if no trade materializes

    Denzel Mims' tenure in New York is coming to an unceremonious end.



    The Jets are planning to release the wide receiver if the team cannot find a trade partner first, NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo reported on Wednesday, per a source.

    Brian Costello of the New York Post first reported the news.

    Garafolo added that teams have been in touch with the Jets about Mims, so a trade instead of a release is indeed a possibility.







    like this kid coming out of college , got drafted to thew lowly jets and got little help from the qb play , could be worth a flier /conditional pick

    Kenny Pickett is who I though he was .. Eagles didn't value him either , now he is a Stain at the Mistake by the Lake 3 teams in 4 years more of a shooting star than a superstar

    he has the tools for sure , a 6th rounder may prove to be a bargain but a good deal for the Jets too if so because he certainly hasnt proved his NFL value yet ... Mims was put in a tight spot, a team with poor qb play that was loaded with middling or better Wr talent

    looks like the Jets are shipping Mims and a 7th rounder to detroit for a conditional 6th in 2025
