    Browns Week

We are getting some defensive guys back. Austin may be out, along with Ramsey, but Porter will be back. Maybe we will see Wilson get targeted. I’m wondering if Rogers doesn’t have enough confidence in him. I think the Browns have had as many starting QBs as they have head coaches in the last ten years. Hey, and maybe we will trade for Flacco next season, since we are the only AFC North team that he hasn’t started for. Steeler 27 Browns 9

It is Browns week! I'm hoping we put it on them early and never take our foot off the gas. This could be our statement game. Best defense? Let's put 40 on them.

Will probably go down to the wire. I'll say 20 -17 Steelers

They still need a #2 WR badly.

Whatever your opinion of Rogers in, he is a very thoughtful guy. If you get a chance, watch his presser from the Browns game. He has a lot to say about players on both sides of the ball. I think he likes being a Steelers, and frankly I do too.

Crazy fact…..the last three weeks, with the bye week, the Steelers are 2-0. The rest of the AFC North 0-9.

I was at the game yesterday and noted that Rodgers got the ball out of his hands quickly and that neutralized the Browns pass rush. Broderick Jones is still a work in progress and they definitely could not let Myles Garett turn the game around with sacks and turnovers. The game plan looked feeble at the beginning but it was a smart plan with quick throws. Good job Rodgers, Jones and Arthur Smith

I thought it was a solid victory.

If it weren't for a couple calls that went against them, they win that game by four touchdowns. They pretty much dominated that football game.

If anyone told me before the season that the team would be 4-1 at this point, I would be ecstatic.

I am ecstatic. They also appear to be improving, which is a very good thing.

Now they need to manage the injuries that keep coming and continue to improve.

On a side note. That field is so bad. It is time for a completely new approach to how they get a quality turf on that field. They certainly have the resources to do so.

Yep! I can’t believe the turf is an issue again. I remember a number of years ago, the turf was so bad, that, on a rainy night Monday game, a punt stuck in the turf. If it weren’t so soft I would have called that game. There are too many great agronomists, ( some down the road at Penn State) for this to be a problem. I thought we might lose Boz on that one kick. I don’t bitch about much, but that was inexcusable.

I’m loving Harmon. I think he will fill that Tuitt void nicely. Could be a defensive leader when Cam retires. Too early to tell, but the more I see the more I like.
