the only coach worth keeping is

they need to wipe the slate clean , Danny Smith is the only guy I would retain.....its soooo bad , how do you go from 10-3 to 10-7 and not make wholesale changes ....

Fields should have taken the field to start the 2nd half last night this team lacked (use your choice of descriptive words here tons of them would work) and very little changes were made ....they trotted out the same shit game plan in the 2nd half as they used in the first and the last month if you want to get technical and EVERY team knows it .....

they flat out suck , I will continue to watch because that is what I do as a fan of 50+ years but I can envision the day when I no longer do it and that day is coming if changes are not made ....
Kenny Pickett is who I though he was .. Eagles didn't value him either , now he is a Stain at the Mistake by the Lake 3 teams in 4 years more of a shooting star than a superstar

That day came for me last night. I had no interest in watching after checking the Baltimore score.

I knew they would lose. They will most likely go to Baltimore next week, after the Chargers jump past them today, and get their asses kicked again.

And coach .500 will remain along with his band of clueless coaches as well.

And all rejoice we will continue to be a just above .500 team that ekks into a wildcard spot or barely misses the playoffs. Then we will draft somewhere in the low 20's, rinse and repeat again and again and again....

Re: the only coach worth keeping is

I understand the frustration. I feel it as well. However, I can't say I am really more frustrated than when we couldn't win an AFC Championship game all those years. Of course, we were winning playoff games (just not the big ones), but I can't ever remember being more frustrated than after the loss to the Chargers in the AFCCG.

I don't know when will get over the hump, but I believe we will. I do know the QB has to be at franchise level or at least near franchise for that year to have a chance. Will it happen while Tomlin is still the coach? I don't know. And neither does anybody else. But I will be rooting every year for them with hope that this year is the year they break through.

My perspective is clearer than it was after that Charger's loss. Frustrated? Yes! But out of the 32 teams in the NFL, our future prospect of winning a championship over the next 5 years are still better than the majority of those other teams. Noone will convince me otherwise.

So, I hope we pull the upset Saturday, but if not, next year anything is possible.

Re: the only coach worth keeping is

I normally wouldn't post or answer on game day. Do not want to jinks them. However the OP question is one that should have already been decided & doesn't make a difference if we lose today or go on to win the Super Bowl.

I'll start with the coaches & coordinators who stay:

    - Tom Arth & Zac Azzanni deserve a second season to prove themselves. Both were hired last off season & the jury is still out. Arthur Smith may be in the same boat, but I haven't seen enough "ingenuity" out of him to think he deserves a 2nd year to convince me that he will develop. He's at the point in his coaching career, he either has it or he doesn't. I've seen more Atlanta "suck" offense, than seen anything proving to me he needs more time develop an offense.

    - Coaches who are worthy or somewhat competent & because you CAN"T get rid of a large number of coaches in one off season: Danny Smith, Carl Dunbar, Denzel Martin & Aaron Curry.

Coord/coaches that should already have their offices packed up; First of all, any coach you never heard of. If you don't know their name, IT'S BECAUSE THEY SUCK!!!

#1 Alfredo Roberts - the 1st Tight End he coaches up will be his first LITERALLY. Dude sucks goat balls. The TEs on his grand-kids pee wee league suck. Every TE he has ever spoken to, trends backwards.

#2 Mike Sullivan (not sure of his title, I think he the teams official cleat shoe string tie'er), Teryl Austin (D Coord), Eddie Faulkner (RB) & Grady Brown (Secondary) See Alfredo Roberts reasons above. EVERY SINGLE ONE of these guys have NO resume or players they ever spoken/looked at, that has a ASCENDING career. NONE, not a one that's noteworthy. EVERY Steeler they EVER coached has regressed or is out of the league. The poor kids on their grand kids pee wee leagues, JR high & high school teams, that they coached, all dropped out of sports or became cheerleaders. NO RESUMES worthy between them. Ran out of the league by them or because of them. FIRE EVERY single one of them & let Kahn & Weidel pick Tomlin's coaches from here on out. Tomlin SUCKS at picking coaches that are proven.

I can't vouch for any of our coaches, and I wouldn't say any of them are doing a good job. Mediocre and average? That seems about right, and that matches our team's overall record. But good? No.

Cant remember too well the last time we won any sort of playoff game. I think its when Pac Man had a meltdown and we got a break with the penalty. I agree Danny Smith is a stalwart, i dont know about Arthur Smith, the trying to establish the run before stretching the defense thing didnt work out too well. Was that dictated by Tomlin? Im on the fence with A Smith, (he may go on his own volition anyway) The rest can go. Again though, our fearless leader needs to let go and let the OC and DC do their jobs without his interference.

Didn't realize Teryl Austin signed a 2 year extension before this season.

Pat Meyer contract ended after this year.
