The problem with RBs this 'small' is they bring relatively zero pass protection ability, chip and slip ability, or any measurable power run game. Unless they are just really fast and quick twitch type runners, I see little to no value in the NFL. Kenneth Gainwell of the Eagles is only 5'9" but carries 200+LBs and still runs mid 4.4s. That is about as small as a RB needs to be for this level. Exceptions? Always an exception or 2.
These mini backs are just glorified wide receivers. Give me a 240-250 pound work horse. Which seems to be a dying breed.
