The 1973 Pittsburgh Steelers highlight film
Many of us have seen the season highlights of the Steelers during their Super Bowl years in the '70s. I'm not talking about those America's Game highlights of teams that won the Super Bowl, but the ones that NFL Films made for each team every year. Do they still do that by the way? Anyway, I came across the 1973 Pittsburgh Steelers highlights film on Youtube which I had never seen before. It's longer than an hour I think because it appears they combined the NFL Films Steelers highlights and interspliced highlights from the NFL Weekly Highlights together.
Fun watching the Steelers back then. Before our great 1974 draft.

It's interesting to think about the pre-Super Bowl Steelers. There just weren't the same expectations because the Steelers had never won anything yet.

Oh yes, a limber Bobby Walden in his pride. The Dolphins owned 2 seasons spanning 1972-73.

Kind of a forgotten team. The 73 draft was not that good. 2 role players drafted. The other names are not recognizable.
However the secondary has one of the greatest years. 24 picks by the DBs.
They allowed a 33.1 passer rating the entire season. Crazy stats.
Franco got hurt so he didn't get a 1000 yards
