Maybe I would considered the 36th overall pick by the rams if the rams overpaid just a bit...maybe

I get it but if the players the steelers want are no longer available at 38 they are going to be loser in that so I would like it to be an overpay by another team if the steelers are to trade down from 32 or I stay put

I've gone back and forth on staying at 32 or trading down. Now finally knowing who's available I'm trading down. My intuition tells me its Tennessee at 41. And I wouldn't entertain any further than that. That's 9 players. I think the Titans go after the hometown kid in Hendon Hooker.

    Hendon Hooker
    Will Levis
    O'Cyrus Torrence
    John Michael Schmitz
    Steve Avila
    Cody Mauch
    Porter Jr
    Cam Smith
    Julius Brents
    Tyrique Stevenson
    Brian Branch
    Trenton Simpson
    Michael Mayer
    Darnell Washington
    Keannu Benton
    Jalin Hyatt

Those are in no order but I've sure a lot of teams have those guys on their radar, some may go and some may still be available. I think they trade down and get LB Trenton Simpson or CB Tyrique Stevenson.

That would be a huge disappointment.

Branch is the top safety on this year’s draft. That’s tempting also at 32

He's the one that gives me the biggest pause with trading down. You saw the hole left when Watt got injured, what happens if Minkah goes down? You have Norwood or Kazee as a full time back-up? I'd go Branch over a CB at 32 if they stay put. Plus Branch can give you slot/nickel work too.

Looking at the trade value charts....it is going to get difficult to find a dance partner that:

    1. Has the Steelers only moving back a few picks.
    2. AND has a pick in about the 110-120 range to give to make the trade value align.

I wonder if they try and trade out of the second round entirely at 49 to turn that into picks between 80 and the start of the seventh round to spread out their gap in picks....?

Per Jeremy Fowler, 4 teams have made serious inquiries about #32.

    It boggles my mind.

I would be extremely surprised if Pittsburgh trades away 32 for value equal (or close to) the trade value chart. The FO knows they are in a great position to ask for more than that. They'll get what they can for picks in this years draft and if that's not enough, the other team better throw in some '24 picks. They're in the cat bird seat and should demand more.

I don't want to be just for a fourth round pick too

I would move back for a forth rounder but not to any of the teams listed I personally wouldnt want to be moving more than 4-5 spots back unless that pot is REALLY sweet

    32 = 590
    38(520)+109(76)=596
cant always go by that chart , not when 1st round talent remains in the second round and YOU hold the cards to it all ... you want the player you got to pay the piper sometimes
Kenny Pickett is who I though he was .. 4 teams in 5 years and traded twice in one off season

A bird in the hand (JPJ) is worth more than two in the tree.

This is Penn State vs Ohio State this past season. Joey Porter Jr spending a large part of the game taking on Marvin Harrison Jr.... the best WR in the country. He's better than anyone that is coming out this year. He will probably be in the conversation for the #1 pick in next year's draft. No CB in this draft had to take this dude on and lived to talk about it. Porter won that matchup against that guy.

Is Porter perfect? No, he is not. But he has put that on tape, and nobody else has. Everyone.....and I mean everyone that Harrison has gone up against has gotten destroyed by him. Everyone except Joey Porter Jr.

Here is a short video of that matchup.

I feel like maybe the football Gods are handing one to the Steelers?? Maybe not…

The question really is, if so, do the Steelers see it?

I remember watching the game last season and Harrison was getting catches in the 2nd half on almost every play. Not sure if it was against Porter though.

And there we have it. Nice. Please be an Ike T. And learn to live with the pressure buddy. You are getting a crap load of attention. And expectations.

honestly, I wanted Branch. But it’s very exciting. Legacy picks always are. I’m actually hoping for one or two more. I’m a fan of Linebacker Heyward and Herbig too. If around. I’d even take Heyward in round 3. To be honest. I believe.
