Great day for the Steelers! Those of you who think Lamar is all-world, I think you’re stuck in 2019.
I expect a big season for Lamar in 2023 with a new OC if he can stay healthy.The ravens have always winning a lot of game with him as QB.
Take away the first two seasons and he has been pedestrian. I'm not denying he was great during those two seasons. Defenses adjusted and he is average. That may change but I don't see it. IMO.

I'm expecting him to miss 6-7 games and throw about 17 TDs. Not to mention, he'll run for about 850 yards. The Ravens will go 8-9.

Lamar is much better that Winston and Mayfield....You can't never predict injuries too

Lamar will not be the highest paid QB for long and some worst QB that him is going to have a bigger contract in the next few years than Lamar....it's always how it works..I think if they are smart the Lamar's contract will be manageable.If they add some voided years after some restructuring, this contract will only hurt the ravens in 2028 and later when his contract will be over but for now nobody cares about 2028!

Joe Flacco played lights out in the postseason and Baltimore got a Super Bowl. Baltimore overpaid, but Flacco had his body of work. I have no idea what to say about THIS.
The problem for Flacco,he was terrible after that outside of 2014.His cap hit in his first 3 years were not that high

QBs this board has said are good: Gardner Minshew, Kirk Cousins, Trubisky, Huntley. Guys this board has said are bad: Jalen Hurts, Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen.
I know we all get QBs wrong all the time. I have personally missed on Darnold and Herbert most recently. And really liked Carson Strong last draft. It happens. I still think Lance can play.
But I am having a hard time swallowing what you all are selling about Jackson because the overall track record is not there.

Professional GMs and Head Coaches have also said the exact same things about the exact same players. Some of them are still employed!

Have to give him credit where it is due, he gets ALL that $$ with him being his own agent. Once his mobility is shot (might already be here cause he wasn’t a step faster last season IMO) then the Ravens will be in trouble. Until then, they should make the playoffs most seasons.
