I didn’t want a move up at that point. But they did get Jones and collectively across all rankings he was the second ranked OT and also was collectively the 18th pick overall. And amongst the more respected and bigger known big boards was a 15.

I knew they weren’t taking corner in the first round this year. To me that was obvious. Not to be arrogant. But it felt like almost a for sure. Although Gonzalez was falling. Ha. So…

so, let’s see how he develops. And hope Jones proves to be the guy for a king time. Needs coaching. And I believe in the his coach. The Oline certainly came along last year and by golly they gave major competition for next year.

So Glad we picked Jones and have a top-tier tackle. The 4th round pick to move up is acceptable given the circumstances imo.

Round 2 hoping for an edge rusher and then a cornerback. We lost just about every game when TJ was out last year and while we lost Sutton, cornerback is fairly deep.
