What if the Packers just hold Rodgers until a team loses a QB for the season and then get a better package from that team than what the Jets are offering? If I were the Packers, I’d be holding the Jets over a barrell…especially now that they are giving in to Rodgers demands…whose not even in New York yet.

I’m not a Rodgers backer, but I think his biggest problem was the Packers refusal to draft a WR in the first round, and then letting Adams walk.

I don't think Rodgers has enough to get the Jets over in the AFC. If he would have gone to an NFC team, he still could have probably made a difference. That all said, I don't think this deal is the disaster for the Jets, if it doesn't work out, that I thought it would be. Unlike the Browns, they can recover to there usual crappie selves pretty quickly if this turns into like a two-year experiment.
Rodgers looked completely cooked last year. If he plays like that again, this will be a very short lived trade.
If he plays like that the Jets still win a playoff game or two.
