That’s a rough deal for Carolina…good deal for the Bears IMO. Getting DJ Moore is huge for them.

The first 4 pick in the next draft will likely be at the QB position if the cards trades their 3rd overall pick

If your giving up so many picks why not at least talk to Lamar? I'm scared off. Y his injury history but the draft is really a crap shoot

You'd still be giving up two first-round picks to sign him, plus pay top dollar for his new contract. Add in the fact that you'd also have to redesign your entire offense around him while taking a huge roll of the dice that he'll actually be available to lead that offense, and you've got what amounts to a super shitty deal for a team looking to make a fresh start. Actually a shitty deal for most teams. That dude is staying right where he is unless there's some extra weird development like the Niners want to trade Trey Lance for him.

Bears offense may be looking better than the Steelers offense…lol.

Fields, Herbert, Moore, Mooney, Claypool, Kmet. Not bad…

If it results in a franchise QB for Carolina, it was a steal for the Panthers.

Because some teams have figured out that Lamar is overrated.

The Ravens not only showed they are willing to move on without LJ, they have practically invited other teams to take him. As we have found many times over the years, there are the opinions of the fans and talking heads, and then there is the NFL.

Yep, and his style of play doesn't make him long for this league, just look at last season.

I do wonder how “injured” he was last season…

Why would he not be? Are you suggesting he was faking it or that the Ravens benched him? I still stand by my point that his style of play does not bode well for a long career.

I think it's possible that Lamar didn't want to take a chance to come back at the end of the season because of his contract situation...When he got injured, John Harbaugh said he wasn't going to miss a lot of games ....Maybe he was really hurt, but that's a real mystery.... Either way it was a bad look for Jackson

I think there was concern within the organization that Lamar was milking the injury. You could hear it in Harbaugh's tone when answering questions.

I’m suggesting that maybe he was milking it, not necessarily faking it, as to not get further injured before his pay day. Why would he want to play?

Your point is still very valid.

I'm reading that DJ Moore going to the Bears makes waves for Chase Claypool moving forward in Chicago. I don't really understand the why. Unless it's a money issue or something, the Bears need WRs.

Mooney, Moore and Claypool is a pretty nice trio along with Equanimeous St. Brown and Pettis.
