watson isn't the type of QB to 'turn around' a franchise. wasn't the texans like 4-12 during his last year playing for them? i mean he's a good fantasy football QB but that's about where it ends

That is the key point. His cap $$$ really doesn't matter if he is playing like the guy who single-handedly was the entire Texans offense in 2019 and 2020...then it would be worth it. But the version that played last year? Yeah...not so much. No idea if he has just lost it, the situation was bad, or if he just needed way more time than anyone thought to work through the rust...
