I kept seeing edge rushers falling every time they tried to bend to get to the quarterback. I really believe the field was a huge factor in this game. Both teams had to play on it, but it really was a factor in how things played out.

Great game, halftime on the other hand worst in recent years. Unbelievably bad.

Mahomes is on his way to making Andy “can’t win it all” Reid the greatest coach of all time.

Yes but the OL still had to block on it. I just think the Eagles played a horrible defensive game. They gave up two TD's with NO ONE covering guys plus the punt return and gift fumble. Not going to win the SB doing that.

Looking at the Eagles schedule this year they had a real soft path to a 14-3 record. Plus, they got to face a very good SF team without their QB who was hurt in the first series of the NFCCG.

    They played:

    Wk1 Lions - Barely won 38-35
Wk2 Vikings - Always overrated horrible team with Cousins
    Wk3 Redskins - Horrible
Wk4 Jags - Who were horrible in beginning of year.
    Wk5 Cards - Horrible
Wk6 Cowboys - Dak out hurt
    Wk7 BYE
Wk8 Steelers - Pickett still learning
    Wk9 Texans - Horrible
Wk10 Redskins - Eagles lose to horrible team
    Wk11 Colts - Horrible
    Wk12 Packers - Horrible year
    Wk13 Titans - Sub .500 team
    Wk14 Giants - Average team
Wk15 Bears - Worst team in league
Wk16 Cowboys - Dak, back they lose (Jalen Hurts out)
Wk17 Saints - Hurts still out but they lose to horrible team
    Wk18 Giants - Barely win

Andy Reid was really hyping Eric Bienemy every chance he could. Don't be super surprised if he lands a HC job.

Yeah the Eagles suck. Didn’t have one good win all year. Chiefs beat a bad team tonight. They suck too. Lol

This has become a pattern. Which is why I'm honestly not sorry that I completely tuned out as soon as the Steelers were eliminated from the postseason this year.

Eric "Sleeping with" Bienemy lol. I can't get that out of my head since the old school Berman / PrimeTime days

I think we saw different replays.
A hand full of jersey is a handful of jersey. It definitely slowed him down. Brad berry admitted that it was a hold. Chiefs would’ve still won the game anyway. The Eagles went away in the second half and the Chiefs were playing perfect ball. They had all the momentum.

It was a pleasure to watch two offenses that knew what they were doing.

It wasn’t that “No one was covering guys”, Reid was able to see that the MLBs and safeties were over pursuing and they took advantage twice with the same play on opposite sides of the field. When you have TEs that can make plays (one of Reid’s staples going all,the way back to the Eagles days…see Chad Lewis. Reid makes TEs), that’s a huge distraction. But you have to know how to use them…

The field was an embarrassment. The venue should be ashamed and not allowed to host a SB again until they get it sorted out.

I thought we (as Steelrs fans) are always told not to bitch about the refs. Don't put yourself in a position to let one call lose the game for you.

I think this was their answer to the problem they were having during the season…only the answer appeared to be much, much worse…

It’s surprising that there were no injuries because of it.

Kenny Pickett is who I though he was .. Eagles didn't value him either , now he is a Stain at the Mistake by the Lake 3 teams in 4 years more of a shooting star than a superstar

The chiefs deserves a lot of credit for this pick too!

They traded up from 28 to 10 to have Mahomes!

Not what I'm saying. I'm saying their 14-3 record was misleading.

Well right from the players mouth:

Juju had him beat on that play and without the tug Juju breaks wide open and the Chiefs most likely score a TD there. I would have preferred that outcome because then the Eagles would have had well over a minute left (with two timeouts) to try to tie it. That would have been a much more exciting ending then a FG with 8 seconds left. I HATE Superbowls that end like that.

It wasn't an excuse? Again I simply said they had a soft schedule, which they did. Take it for what you want. I didn't say they didn't deserve to be there but if the 9ers don't lose their QB two weeks ago they might not be.

Moving on to funny shit because I really don't care who won/lost:

Bradshaw can say that because he waddles himself…

I haven't watched a halftime show in years. I usually hit the bathroom, eat. I always thought they were a huge waste of time and ruin the flow of the game.
