I just can't believe this
So sad. Growing up he was such a huge part of my childhood. And this week makes it even sadder. The Italian Army grieves.

Absolutely Surreal that this happened.
R.I.P 32...I am going to the game Saturday was hoping to see him there....sucks
KNOCKIN ON 7'S DOOR!
SO SAD !! A great player and a great man. A TRUE community servant also. REST IN PEACE !!!
Felt like a punch in the gut when I turned my car on and it was the first thing I heard on the radio. So sad.
well this is just Horrible news ......
Like many he was an institution in my Steelers Legacy and Lore and an impactful member of the City of Pittsburgh my entire life ( well since age 7 or 8 on anyways )
RIP #32 you will live on in our hearts ...
Kenny Pickett is who I though he was .. Eagles didn't value him either , now he is a Stain at the Mistake by the Lake 3 teams in 4 years more of a shooting star than a superstar
RIP Franco.
I feel sick. Just saw him on TV speaking within the last few days. Looked great.
What a damn shame.
Probably his best game that I can recall. I know he got MVP in IX but he was unstoppable here.
His TD run at :58 was a thing of beauty.
Too sad. Such a nice guy. RIP Franco.
My son just texted me from his bus on the way to school.
It's weird because his "A FOOTBALL LIFE" is about to be released this Friday plus they are retiring his number on Saturday. Now it's almost like a tribute.
RIP, Franco you will always be the #1 RB in Steelers history. I'm wondering what happened, heart attack?
he is exactly the kind of RB Najee COULD be , but hasnt been

Absolutely no words. Not only a great Steeler but a great Penn Stater. Saturday takes on a whole new meaning.
This one is tough

His interview after his immaculate reception!
RIP # 32
Give a lib a fish--he eats for a day
Teach a lib to fish--he is back the next day asking for more free fish.

man this is shocking. he was about to have his number retired this saturday, and he didn't appear to be in bad health, what's the cause?
Formerly known as Fire Goodell
This is so sad again
He had great vision, really knew how to use his blockers
Shocker, another childhood icon gone
This is a slap in the groin, loved Franco Harris. I literally wore out my Franco shirt in Elementary school. RIP
BLAH!!!Forever loving and missing you Gal.
sadly at age 72 death is always knocking at the door, some just answer the door sooner than others .. sucks for sure ....every day we wake up is a blessing the older I get the more appreciative I am of that (60 is creeping in, in just a few months ) sure I dont look it (my avatar pic is from this past summer) but internally age is age and nobody escapes it
