This is also the true rookie season for Lawrence....Last year he had no chance with Meyer.The playoffs are also likely for the Jags.Won the last 2 games vs Texans and Titans and they won the AFC south
Of course, they're the only team that lost to the Texans and the Texans lost close game to the Cowboys and Chiefs in their last 2 games but I still really like their chance.

Both teams have been pretty solid.
And even if their start to the season was bad(record wise), they were still competitive in many of their game.... Lots of close losses, so it was just a matter of time....

I think the Browns know they aren't going anywhere and they want to give Watson as much as they can without crushing his confidence with the long time away from playing football. It makes sense to get him ready for next year.
