They had no choice but to play KP, Mitch was horrible. KP has made some good plays and also made mistakes in a lousy flawed system. It should be clear though that his ceiling is yet to be reached.

I don't think if Pickett is a bust it's going to be because he played this year... This year is a good year for him to gain experience and live with the ups and downs

But if Canada is back next year, I'm done with that!

I can confidently say our record would be no better or worse with Trubisky @ QB over KP, as it doesn't matter when you have a ham-strung offense like ours, along with a hobbled defense. Hell, even Rudolph could've posted the same record, but at the very least KP has gotten more NFL experience, which is better than no experience gained coupled with the same shitty record.

I don’t think the offensive system is good for a QB, but not playing him is a worse idea. He needs the experience and sitting on the bench with this garbage OV wasn’t going to help at all.

And if he wouldn't have started this year, it would have been next season that the steelers would have to live with the ups and downs with him since it would have been his first year as a starter.

But now he'll have experience with a full offseason and he'll know what it takes to be a better QB with his likely 13 starts in his rookie year.

The defense has also been just awful in 3 of Pickett's 4 losses too
