They had no choice but to play KP, Mitch was horrible. KP has made some good plays and also made mistakes in a lousy flawed system. It should be clear though that his ceiling is yet to be reached.
I can confidently say our record would be no better or worse with Trubisky @ QB over KP, as it doesn't matter when you have a ham-strung offense like ours, along with a hobbled defense. Hell, even Rudolph could've posted the same record, but at the very least KP has gotten more NFL experience, which is better than no experience gained coupled with the same shitty record.

There are people who want Trubisky to be our starting QB? *looks around* Where?
Kenny Pickett is now 3-4 as a starter.
The team has scored a total of 74 points in their last three games.
Averaging nearly 25 points per game is a vast improvement on what was happening earlier in the season.
He is improving seemingly every week, and his arrow is pointing way up. The offense is playing better as a whole and is improving.
Everything Gerry Dulac said is completely incorrect, and his stance is looking dumber by the day.
And if he wouldn't have started this year, it would have been next season that the steelers would have to live with the ups and downs with him since it would have been his first year as a starter.
But now he'll have experience with a full offseason and he'll know what it takes to be a better QB with his likely 13 starts in his rookie year.
The defense has also been just awful in 3 of Pickett's 4 losses too
......
Yeah, Gerry. We're really messing up Mitch Trubisky for Kenny Pickett's development.
Dulac's looking less educated than Mark Madden right about now
