    week 7:Miami Dolphins(3-3)

Tua will likely be back next week. The Dolphins have 2 very fast WR.I hope despite what happen today that our secondary will not be depleted once again...

Also the steelers are big time underdog once again, this time by 6.5 points!

If Tua plays, can’t see how this team beats the Phins to give them their 4th straight loss.

Is there a chance of TJ being back or are we waiting until after the bye?

This defense at full strength, or at least with Minkah and TJ on the field have a good chance against the Phins.

I don’t wish injury on anyone, but with Watt, Highsmith, and Cam on the field at the same time, there’s a decent chance that they end Tua’s season. I’m not sure how many more big hits that kid can take.

    DONT SLEEP ON BRIAN FLORES.

No one can tell me he had zero impact on today's defensive gameplan. Being a coach on the Patriots for 10 years while Brady is there was about as good of an inside scoop as you could ask for. Id like to think he likely did something. Belichick himself largely credited him for the incredible defensive effort when they beat the rams in the superbowl.

And now we're coaching his 1-year-removed team. Plenty of his defenders are still there and he knows their strengths and weaknesses. Yeah, we'll probably lose this one but...

    1) We should be getting most of our 2ndary back. If at least Minkah and either Sutton/Wallace are back, thats a huge difference
    2) Maybe just maybe Tua will be rusty off his nearly month long hiatus?
    3) Calvin Austin is likely activated for the first time this week and no one has any NFL film on him yet
    4) Flores knows this team

TJ had his knee scoped, so he is out till after the bye, that is why I was hoping to steal another W before then. Between Miami and Philly, it has to be Miami. If we can split the next 2 games that is the best result anyone could ask for, then come out of the bye mostly healthy and ready for a run.

TJ is supposed to return whenever he was supposed to originally return.

Rushing TJ back before the bye would be stupid, but it's a team decision. The NFL is scared shitless about getting sued by the NFLPA so Pickett will probably miss the next two games and be out through the bye as well. After watching the Eagles secondary I expect Canada to turtle and run the ball for -50 yards and a loss against the Eagles.

The Steelers just played their best game when I counted them out so I’ll continue to do that.

My biggest hope is that we leave one of our two backups in Miami and bring home a draft pick instead. Mitch had a great game yesterday. Maybe we can call up Colbert and ask him to work his Raiders-trade magic with Miami and we can get a third round pick.

It seems like Pickett is unlikely to play given that even if he passes concussion protocols before the game he won’t be able to practice all week. If it were Big Ben we’d obviously play him anyway, but I’m not sure Tomlin will do that with a rookie QB.

Yes but Ben was a freak of nature. Every time he got concussed he actually got smarter.

pretty much like favre. john madden kept track of favre's stats "after getting hit in the head" during one game, and his passer rating before hit in the head was like 64 compared to like 130 that would never fly today

He'll play quarterback? Dang Mike, I thought this was the week he'd be starting at free safety

    make a deal before kickoff.
tomlin - we'll spot you an opening kickoff return for a TD and give you a QB for a 3rd round pick.

I can't help but have this mental image of 2 punch drunk QBs(Tua and KP) just throwing the football randomly at shadows and ghosts, wandering aimlessly after breaking huddle, start hugging other players for no particular reason, etc....

Careful. If Dulac is reporting this it can't be a trusted source.

A lot of players fully practiced, and the ones returning from concussions are full participants 2 days in a row. Good sign. We might have nearly all hands on deck. Maybe without Sims which is a shame, the dude totally balled last week.

Hell, we're only one game out of first. Get Watt back and of the offense starts to gel... PLAYOFFS!
