Credit to Mitch for this game

You're probably right about MR, who'd want to stay after being demoted unless they got assurances that they'd be no. 2 (probably not happening)
I am sure there will plenty of backups available after the season, there are always a handful available.

It’s his best performance in a Steelers uniform bar none.

But no one’s cueing that tape up as a teaching tool on how to play QB.

His best plays were a free play on a defensive penalty and Claypool housing overmatched defenders.

I’m sorry, I’m not impressed. Trubisky met table stakes for the NFL. KP was a bit short of that.

I’m not sure how either is a controversial take. Have we all forgotten what actual good QB play looks like?
Yes, its been a four years now, I vaguely remember a guy in black and gold throwing 20 yard strikes over the middle

I know this conversation has gone back and forth about Mitch and Kenny and who should start, who's playing well etc. I know Kenny threw a lot of passes against the Bills and he looks dynamic but ran into some of the exact same issues we've seen with Mitch and they are involved in the scheme...Most of those passes are in the air less than 5 yards...most of the patterns are on the sides of the field from 3 yards behind the LOS to 5 yards in front of it and most importantly with all the yards, we still didn't put up points. Kenny has been accurate and did great on the first drive and then the offense went back into the same thing we've seen all year. Honestly, I think EITHER of these QB's could do very well IF we had an offensive coordinator that had the faintest clue of what an NFL offense is supposed to be. I'm expecting Kenny to play the moment he's cleared to play but have no issue with Mitch if he takes an attitude of "the hell with this, I've got a game to win" instead of being extra careful in Canada's bullshit scheme

There's not much debate in here about how should start. To my knowledge, only one poster thinks it should be Mitch. And Kenny was cleared to play a couple days ago.

I'm actually pretty ok going into this game with Kenny starting and, if things go sideways, Mitch is the backup.
