    Bills week

Honestly I can't say I'm optimistic about this one at all, but it'll be interesting to watch how Pickett responds to playing a good team in a hostile environment. I predict he'll get 2 scores but also turn the ball over once or twice.

Defense is banged up and no TJ, vs Josh Allen? We lose this one by 2 scores. Bills 34-17.

If the Steelers are to have a prayer winning this (the 1% "so you're telling me there's a chance" scenario) - Najee will have to have a beast game & Highsmith will have to ball out as well

The steelers are underdog by.....14 points!!!!

I've never seen that for the steelers!

Last year against the chiefs in the playoffs, the steelers were underdog by 13 points which was the highest in the Roethlisberger era (only other time Ben was underdog by 10 point or over in his career was against this same chiefs team in week 16)...Underdog by 14 points , it must be a record!

    Re: Bills week

If Tomlin will commit to Pickett as QB1 and give him all of the snaps at practice and not put doubt in Pickett's mind the offense will get dramatically better. The defense on the other hand is not playing well, I'd like to see Loudermilk out there to give Cam some rest and the inside linebackers do a far better job in pass coverage. It'll be a big achievement if the Steelers are able to beat the Bills in Orchard Park.

And we lost by 21 to KC last year in the playoffs. Ouch.

I expect a real beat down this weekend and Pickett will probably throw 2-3 more picks which will send Mrs. Trubisky (DWINSGAMES) to bed happy.

Bring it on. Any given Sunday. That's their only shot.

Welcome to the NFL. It'll be interesting to see how this team deals with this with Pickett under center.

In perfect world, they would swap Gunner for Sims. Gunner is not good on offense and is no regularly costing the team field position on kicks. Then they would swap Harvin and Barry. Again...Harvin is just not very good.

Then, I scour the earth for OLB and DB. Because the lack of a pass rush and the inability to play dime (in both cases because they were totally out of dudes they trusted to be on the field) cost you the Jets game likely more than anything else.

With all that, maybe they only get beat by 3 scores!

It will be a beat down, but I think the Bills secondary is hurting also. If KP can move the ball with some regularity, it should take some stress off the defense and allow them to not be completely gassed in the 4th. We only lose by 10pts - 34-24.

Gunner... ugh. He has not been good.

I think someone said he wasn't pressing in preseason to bring it out of the endzone just to show something...
He should stick to that. The touchback is his best play.

Holy shit, I gotta get my ass to the bookie.

I don't see us getting blown out in this one. The Bills are good, but they're beat up. And if there's one thing we've shown we're able to do this year, it's somehow scrapping enough to keep the game close even though we're playing like dogshit.
    See you Space Cowboy ...

The Bills have the Chiefs on deck after this one.

Home game. Heavily favored against "Weak" opponent with a big game right after it that will decide playoff seeding.

Catch them looking ahead. 1-3. Starting a rookie who is fearless. Fuck it. Nothing to lose.

The steelers beat the Bills last week in Buffalo but T.J Watt was with us and it was in week 1.Josh Allen did not have a great game against us so far in his career after 3 starts but it could change. Our offense were brutal in the last 3 matchup vs BUF and the Bills have a great defense with a great pass rush.Their secondary is a question mark too but they play a lot of zone

Gunner from the preseason > Gunner from the regular season. He has totally been a disappointment. I wasn't expecting much from a #4-#5 receiver but he has done nothing on offense.
Jet sweep he blows. Called on to block and he gets pummelled.
And also his fumbling issues he brought over from New England.

Bring on CA3 and Sims. Hell, even Boykin since Claypool plays like a smurf.

Leslie Frazier and the Bills blitz the least in the NFL. I think Kenny will have time from the pocket for the most part.

One thing I noticed about Josh Allen vs the Ravens is he throws the ball pretty much at 100mph every throw. There were more than a few 'tip drill' moments in that game. Maybe the Steelers can get a few turnovers this week and set Kenny and Boz up in good shape.

I'm looking for a good game actually.

Often this is a sign of a great pass rush when you don't blitz often....So you can have more people in coverage when you can put pressure at 4 people. This will be a huge challenge for the first start for Kenny. And after it will be the Bucs who are blitz happy!

    Re: Bills week

    Bills 35, Steelers 24

Tomlin/Canada come out very conservative to protect Kenny, only to find out that its not going to work then open up the offense down 11. Steelers pull within 4 in the 3rd, but the not very good Defense can't hold off Allen. Allen and Singletary break a few big runs late and the Bills pull away.

Bills Defense will grab at least two off of Kenny and sack him a couple times, but finishes with a few strong drives, particularly in the second half to give some hope.

It bothers me that Pickett could have already been prepared as QB1 for over 2 months to this point instead of one week.

The secondary is really going to get exposed. It's going to be ugly.

Basically the reason why I was pissed off they kept trotting out Mitch. They're wasting everybody's time starting Mitch who obviously has no future of being a starting NFL QB. At least with Pickett you can try to build something.

Currently this team has only the warm bodies to play base packages against one of the most pass wacky teams in the league. Without their best pass rusher.

Defensive coaches are going to have earn their money this week. I can't wait to see Maulet, Spillane, Pierre, and Bush in "coverage".

Our secondary is in shambles right now. MASH list.

    Witherspoon is likely out
    Sutton is hurt. Groin/hamstring
    Edmunds hurt. Concussion protocol.
    MFF hurt. Knee.
Levi was hurt the first game.
    Kazee still on IR/Suspension.
    Maulet sucks
    Pierre sucks
    Norwood still young and learning.
