Do some QBs just have bad mo-jo? Even if something is not Mitch’s fault - does his “prescence” make others play poorly around him. Like bobble catches and drop balls.
I remember a game where Ben was practically benched for Byron Leftwich for a half as Ben was playing like crap. Could he “bench” MT for a half and just try something different? ( I guess Tomlin had more freedom to bench Ben as everyone knew there was no QB controversy)

One angle he was out and the other he was in.
Like it or not, it's a QB-driven league. Bad Quarterback play is basically cutting off your own hand. When the QB is terrible and needs to be "carried" the rest of the team has to play out of their minds to cover for him.
