Don't look now, but Alex is leading the NFL in Sacks after three weeks with 4.5. None of us expected this, even if it is only three games. Let's hope he can be one of the bright spots in an otherwise difficult season. Additionally, he has 4 TFL's and a FF.

Highsmith has upped his game this season. He's off to a terrific start.
If he has truly taken a big step in development, he and Watt will be terrifying quarterbacks for the foreseeable future.
It's a damn shame that Tuitt retired, Alualu is no longer near his peak, and Watt isn't around. That would be scary.
Highsmith has been playing great. I think he’s got another couple levels he’s capable of as well. Should be fun watching him unlock those.
Dongsmith had three plays that almost changed the outcome of the game.
Missed a sack... two plays later the Jets get a TD.
Somehow does not recover a fumble.
Missed a sack that would have forced a punt.
SUMMATION:
Highdong was "this close" to having himself a TJ-esque game. Alas...
He misses a lot of plays.
Highsmith misses a lot of plays if your standard is “annual DPOY” if you downgrade that to mere mortal, he’s a decent facsimile of Joey Porter or prime Woodley.
He and Minkah are playing out of their minds.

He is also young... and seems to get better every year. By Year 5, he will be amazing.

He has upped his game, and it is good to see. Once Watt is back, QBs will be on the run most games. Always need either a great pass rush or great DBs for a good defense. Also, should help Cam by getting off the field quicker in games so he and the rest of the defense won’t be on the field for so many snaps getting gassed at the end of each game.
He’s been solid since week one. All the OLBs have looked much improved over last season (not including Watt).

Not Reed and Jones. Those dudes have been borderline awful. Reed looks mostly lost and over-matched. Then he will make like one good run stop and trick me into thinking he can play a little bit.
The fact that they are playing Leal as a supersized OLB tells me all I need to know about Reed and the rest of the reserve OLBs. Start firing up the pro scouting department to find the next set of also-rans.

Yeah Reed looks like a kid in the middle of the highway trying to figure out how to get to the other side. #disappointing
Reed hasn’t been awful all season. Against NE and Cleveland, Reed was all over the place near the ball. The other two games, not so much. Lots of inconsistencies.
