What is the normal timeline for firing coordinators? How long do I have to wait before my hopes are crushed?
Unfortunately he'll be back next season I have a feeling. Hopefully I'm wrong.
Give a lib a fish--he eats for a day
Teach a lib to fish--he is back the next day asking for more free fish.

He'll get Keith Butler'd. They're not going to fire him. They'll hire a special offensive assistant to work alongside him next season. But he won't actually be calling most of the shots, especially in the passing game.
Although it would be cathartic to fire Canada into the sun, there is organizational value in treating people this way.
There is no value in being patient with people who fucked up royally. If anything, it sends the message that you are willing to put up with an excess of bullshit and stick with plans that aren't working and people who aren't getting the job done. (The Trubisky fiasco provides ample backup to this.)
On what planet made entirely of crack cocaine is that a good public image? "Losers are safe here, come here and we'll put up with your bullshit." No thanks.
The only thing that's important here is getting this absolute dogshit coordinator as far away from making any decisions as possible, and you can't get further away than being fired. Might as well show Trubisky the door while we're at it - more dead weight that shouldn't be anywhere near the field again.
See you Space Cowboy ...
Yeah, I don't think the issue was that our offense was too good - such a work of genius that no one could keep up, not even our own players. Wishful thinking right there.
More like "anything will work better than this steaming pile, even running Madden plays," and so that's what they did, and lo and behold, it actually did work better because the original offense sucked so bad.

Maybe this is a good sign that Tomlin did not confirm his return?...Often,the steelers wait 7-10 days before makings a change in a staff
If Canada keep his job, this thread is going to have over 2000 posts in one year!
80% chance that he is gone according to Ray Fittipaldo in this chat(at 12:22)

It was a very low scoring year in 1992 around the NFL....They were still 15th(on 28th team) in scoring
