Yes. Plus there are alternative treatments ranging from high-intensity PEMF therapy to Deer Antler and everything in between that can greatly reduce recovery times from what I have read.

If we had a great OL and a real chance to win this year I would say go for it, but not with this offense. Mack would cost too much in trade plus he's already on the Chargers now.

If we just go for "competent NFL professional" then Skipper, Fackerell, and Ford make sense. If we go with the Steelers usual MO it will be Skipper because they know him and he knows the system.
I suppose someone could comb through that list and see who came in for a pre-draft visit...that usually is a pretty strong tell.

Asking for a 2nd and 3rd opinion usually says that the first opinion wasn’t too good. Hopefully I’m wrong and the first opinion was that he could be back in 6 weeks and he is getting more opinions about doing long term harm if he comes back too soon.
Yep, don't want him to come back too soon. The way the defense looks they should be able to get by okay. Would honestly rather him sit out an extra week or so than recommended to hopefully lessen the likelihood of re-injury.
I am not a fan of rushing players back too soon.
