    The salary cap is a myth at this point!....You can legally cheat the salary cap by putting some voided year on contracts

    The Saints have been doing this with Drew Brees and others for so many years and just look at Tom Brady's contract right now.

    He has one year left in his contract and the bucs are going to have a dead cap on him for the next 4 years after this year....It's a way for teams to keep the team together longer when the window is open

    The Packers will surely do the same with Aaron Rodgers and the Rams had a few players too...The salary cap is a myth now!

    The only downside to doing this is that you can't put the franchise tag after this contract.

    It is somewhere between head-scratching and mind-blowing that they are allowing this again. The 49ers used to abuse the shit out of this to circumvent the salary cap in the '90s, and they made a bunch of rules to prevent it. Apparently it's no biggie anymore.

    He'll probably be injured by week 3 and limited the rest of the season...
