    Connor Heyward

It’s only mini-camp, but Connir looked very good.

Early prediction: he’s the #2 TE on opening day.

I think Connor will be a weapon in the run and passing game as well as ST. He's on the roster as a TE but he's often referred to as an H-Back. At this point I see him as a smaller/faster version of David Johnson. Najee is the RB, Freiermuth is the TE, Watt is the FB, Connor is a combo plus a bit more. He can carry the ball, he can catch the ball, he can block for the ball, he can cover kicks and punts, he can even be the emergency KR if needed. I will be shocked if he's not on the 53.

I forgot all about David Johnson and his 29 catches over 5 years.

4 seasons over 6 years really, but not the point. It was how he was used I was referring to obviously. You need guys that do the 'dirty work' to keep the stars clean.

Here's nearly a half hour of Connor Heyward: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9s8dlepJQs Enjoy.

I'm still holding out hope that they'll trade Watt and the next day Heyward picks up a season-ending injury; that way we could legitimately say that the stupidest possible thing happened.
    See you Space Cowboy ...

from what i gather, CH is strictly working with the TE's so i doubt he will be replacing watt.

Stupid? That'd be a brilliant move to move us up to the top of the first round to pick a QB again next year. Get your facts straight!

i believe i read some bogus info
    from here..... https://www.si.com/nfl/steelers/alls...ne-signing-way

    its a roster prediction article

    Fullback:

    Derek Watt

Connor Heyward is working strictly with the tight ends, so Watt doesn't have competition.
