Christmas Eve game!!!
Welp, no one can deny that these new generation Steelers won't get battle tested early on. Cincy and the Browns on the road within the first three weeks.
5 prime time games plus ending the season hosting the Browns. There's 6 wins.
4 straight wins over the Ravens already. 6 straight puts us at 8 wins.
We owe the Patriots a total beatdown. 9 wins.
The NFC South isn't that scary. There's 13 wins.
The Jets. 14 wins.
@Bengals, @Bills, @Eagles will be the toughest games on the schedule. Compromise and say 17 wins.
I say this schedule works in our favor. Let's GO!!!
Initial thought. Tough start but I could see 4 -4 into the break. Not easy but, even though they are away, Philly and Miami are winnable games. 5 -4 after the break. Figure we will split with the ravens and take Cleveland at home. 9-8. Maybe 10 -6 if we can get on a roll down the stretch.
At least we got a decent bye week - week 9.
Aw, for fuck's sake. This is exactly the kind of stretch that always knocks us out of the playoffs.
Week 13: Come in controlling our own destiny for the wild card and surprisingly still in contention for the division if things go our way
Week 14: ***NUT PUNCH*** Get stomped by the Ravens and now we're tied for the wild card with like 4 other teams, but really behind because we lose all the tiebreakers to all of them, and also it's a demoralizing loss where we looked like shit
Week 15: Easy win, a couple other breaks go our way, we're still behind a couple teams, but hey, maybe we can do this
Week 16: Division leader takes a surprise loss in one of the early games, but ... ***NUT PUNCH*** lose another bullshit game to the Raiders where both teams play like garbage but our offense scores like 3 points and there's nothing positive about the entire game
Week 17: A bunch of other teams lose stupidly, and we can be right back in contention with a win, but then ... ***NUT PUNCH*** we lose 23-21 on some bullshit ending where a bullshit penalty is involved. Technically we're not eliminated, but something like 9 things all have to go our way to get a wild card
Week 18: We easily beat the Browns, and 8 of the 9 things go our way, then in the last game some team that isn't even trying has to beat the Dolphins or something, and they lie down and die. Fuck! Better luck next year.
See you Space Cowboy ...
See you Space Cowboy ...
Watt will sack Mac Noodle Arm at least 4 times.

CBSSports predicts 11-6, 8-4 Conf, 4-2 Division
DraftKings predicts 9-8, 6-6 Conf, 3-3 Division
BleacherReport predicts 8-9
FanDuel predicts 7-10
Well there it is. The 'EXPERTS' predict between 7-11 wins. There were others, I just posted some sites I thought everyone would recognize.
I will predict a slow start around .500 early schedule to the bye week. Then, 7-8 wins to close out the season. EVERYTHING comes down to OL and QB play(outside of injuries obviously).
I'm going 10-7 and wildcard. From there, I'm hoping we give up less than 40 points in the wildcard game.
