This pisses me off, but, if the first pick I don't like is our sixth rounder, then whatever.

Steelers looking for their own Kyle Juszcyzk. He's versatile, and the Steelers like their versatilty. Harmless for a 6th.

I can't wait to NOT go see it, just like I ran out to never see the female Ghostbusters or even understand what the WNBA is.

Why? Now maybe we can get rid of the other brother that costs more.

He is an all hustle guy and he probably directly competes with Watt, so one of the brother duos is gonna be off the 53. Must be an offensive fit for something planned, I thought adding Jesse Luketa at OLB might have been a better idea. I'm not gonna complain about another Heyward on the squad.

Because he's not very good, nobody else was going to draft him, and he won't even make the team. Waste of a pick. He doesn't move the needle at RB, FB, or TE.

    backup RB
    third TE
    starting FB

Position flexibility allows you to give a helmet to one guy (instead of three) so that you can dress an extra O-lineman.

He'll be way worse at FB than Watt, and way worse at TE than Rader. And RB4 at best.

You don't get worse on purpose.

Is Connor Heyward a finished product at this point in his career?

    Is Derek Watt?

    Is Kevin Rader?

    Is Benny Snell?

How do we know? There has been no competition. I like this pick. I like that he is Cam's brother. I like that he'll get the opportunity to compete vs those other guys that never seem to get snaps and maybe upgrade those positions. I see zero negatives with this pick.

Except now you’re definitely going to piss off one of our two best defenders by cutting his brother. Not sure which one, but I don’t want to upset either of those guys.

That’s gonna be a helluva conversation when someone has to cut either a Watt or a Hayward.

I think Tomlin can handle the pressure.

So we have 2 FBs now, are we going to use either?

Technically, Heyward is a TE. We're just projecting him as the next FB also. Sort of a David Johnson role?

Could he take Radar’s spot and they keep Watt? Watt is a good special teams player. I don’t know how much Radar plays on teams.

Yes, he could. There will be competition for that spot, and I think, at the FB spot as well. Definitely for the 2nd/3rd RB spot.

They say his primary role will be TE.

Don't forget. They can also use him as an H-back. There are no size and shape requirements to play a position. Only the positional responsibilities matter, and whether the player can get the job done or not.

i like the pick. i'd imagine he will line up as an H back. dude has good hands and reminds me of bettis when he is running with the ball. he could be a backup at multiple positions. hopefully it gets derrick watts cap hit off the books.

there's no way you can watch this video and think this kid has nothing to offer. i would make him the starting fullback, the 3rd TE and the 3rd RB.
