Really sucks for him. BUT some team will get a steal of a pick day 2 or early day 3. He'll miss out on the 2022 season but should have a return in 2023. Doesn't mean done, just postponed.

He will be back in 6-7 months. I’d draft him in Round 2 in a second. If he was available in Round 3, I’d move up to where ever I needed to go get him.
Guys already skip bowl games. Only a matter of time until the top guys and their agents realize skipping portions or all of the pre-draft process is in their interest as well.
There video out there of him falling to the ground and NOT ONE person going over to help him. Somebody walks towards him… but simply grabs the football and moves on. WTF!?!
