Aaron Rodgers, Packers Agree agree to 4-Year Deal

    4 years, $200M. $153M guaranteed.

Hopefully with that contract he’s not coming to Pittsburgh. Lol.

Whew. I am grateful that the Steelers didn't overpay for him to come here for a few years at best.

Good. Didn't want the douche anyway, especially for the king's ransom the team would have had to give up for him.

EDIT: Well, all I see is a tweet about it from Ian Make-Up-A-Report and a few others parroting his tweet, so I'll wait to see if it's really true or not.

My sources are telling me that it’s a sign and trade to the Steelers!

So would you throw Jordan Love into the current QB mix?

I would. But 95% of this board wouldn’t.

Is that Rodger's Rate higher than the Patrick Price now?

I think you have to put him in there with the incoming rookies and those other vets. What is the asking price for him?

The flashing neon on this deal is the Packers are not comfortable going forward with Jordan Love as the QB. The asking price has O.B.O. at the end of it.

Is that the case or are they just not giving away one of the best players in the league? I wasn’t impressed by Love when he played in place of Rodgers. I don’t do anything more than a 3rd for him but at the same time, where does his skill set rank amongst the incoming rookies?

I loved Charles Barkley's take on Rodgers.

Jordan Love was a strong armed QB, with athleticism, who had questionable accuracy and played against 2nd tier competition at Utah State, when coming out in the draft. He was going to be a project that took a couple years to develop, but had tremendous "upside". I think the feeling it that he isnt progressing how they hoped he would, so not sure you bother with him unless its cheap.

So where would you rank him in this draft class?

It's kind of hard when the guy in front of you wins the MVP both years you're in the league. I can't say that either Trevor Lawrence or Zach Wilson looked much better in many games last year, compared to Love in his limited duty.

Re: Aaron Rodgers, Packers Agree agree to 4-Year Deal

lemme know when he actually signs the deal ( he said after all this reporting claiming he signed that he in fact had NOT signed )

the media is so quick to report and so slow to validate
Kenny Pickett is who I though he was .. Eagles problem now

Lawrence was in a circus of a situation and I dont know what kind of coaching up that kid got. Some games that I saw, I can see how he will have better years ahead of him. Wilson, I still dont know if he will make it in the NFL, but we will see.

Jordan Love was in the Burrow and Tua draft year. McShay had him mocked going as high as #6, but he was a boom or bust pick. I still think he was a guy that was all potential and upside, but had accuracy issues and problems throwing the ball to the other team too much in college. I wasnt a fan of Jordan Love then and still am not a fan of acquiring him now.

nor did I, all the more remarkable that they're a publicly owned non-profit large group of shareholders.

As far as Rodgers, I thought he was history in GB, I guess his future line of work is in show business....
