Curious to hear what everyone’s Top-5 Big Ben plays would be…
Can be favorite plays, best plays, plays that made an impact, etc.
Obviously, the Ben to Holmes XLIII play is on everyone’s list…so let’s leave that one off or just say what that one is and list 5 others. For me, it’s an easy number one. But to this list I have the following:
5. This play is the play that really made me think Ben was something really special. The way he scrambled, avoided the rush and then threw a rope to a very small area for the TD really clicked with me. This one goes to the TD pass he threw to Plaxico Burress in the 2004 Cowboys game that would also turn out to be his first comeback win.
4. Pump Fake vs. Panthers. He pump faked left and the whole Panthers team just went for it because it was almost a full rotation pump fake and then he lobbed one in the right back corner to AB for a TD. 2018 game?
3. (Tie) Broken Nose Game vs. Ravens and fending off Terrell Suggs to throw an incomplete pass.
2. The head nod to Mike Wallace to let him know it was on for an 81-Yard TD pass versus the Colts.
1. The playoff tackle during the Colts game.
The fun thing with this is that as people mention plays that my old mind can’t remember, I’ll probably change my list 1000 times.
I’ll try to find video of the plays above if anyone doesn’t remember them.
