Complete list of 2022 Pittsburgh Steelers free agents

The Pittsburgh Steelers have some tough decisions to make this offseason, and it is safe to say the roster will dramatically different in 2022.

Are any of those decisions really all that "tough"?

Montravious Adams and Witherspoon are likely fairly easy guys to resign. I suspect that there will not be a bidding war for their services.

Killebrew is another easy resigning if they feel his contributions on Special Teams is important enough.

Juju and Edmunds are the only names on that list where their agents might get enough traction across the league to make it uncomfortable for the Steelers to resign to an easy to swallow cap #.

I would say the harder decisions are guys on the roster that need to be cut with all the cap ramifications and lack of replacements that go with that:

    Joe Schoebert: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/pittsbur...chobert-19053/
    Banner: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/pittsbur...-banner-21879/
    D Watt: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/pittsbur...ek-watt-19152/
    Haeg: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/pittsbur...oe-haeg-19109/

Then there are they guys I am too lazy to detail: Layne, Pierre, Snell, McFarland, UG 3, Marcus Allen, Radar, and Mondeuax.

If it were up to me, I would cut every one of these guys but Watt and Banner. I would resign Edmunds and Juju, if possible.

Will the Steelers be willing to churn their roster to that degree? I am talking about entering the FA period with only roughly 24 guys rostered. Have they ever done that before? I have no idea...

Agreed, and I would also keep Adams and Spoons.

Yes! I also would do that. Okay...so maybe they roster like 26 guys!

Re: Complete list of 2022 Pittsburgh Steelers free agents

Steelers have 6 picks in this draft.

    My thinking:
They will re-sign every single player they can get to re-sign. They get to take 90 into TC right? They will also sign a couple of top shelf FAs this offseason(2-3). It will not look promising but blowing it up and starting over with all new players and coaches is not the answer.
