He was the best! Will be sorely missed!!
What a great sendoff the former Steelers and teammates gave to him. Even Bradshaw said a tribute. Good stuff.

I'd like to see AB's send off to Ben...probably won't happen

Yeah, that's embarrassing, highlighted first sentence too, lol, and its si.com, looks like they forgot a zero in there (should be closer to 12,750). Its sloppy work. Everyone seems like they're just quickly pumping out articles with little to no proofing or oversight to beat the next writer. Sports articles are really bad but its in local, world news, everywhere.
It's going to be strange come training camp and there is no Ben reports, or interviews. Hopefully he makes a drive to camp, I hope he doesn't stay away too long.
Ben was a warrior, and he never quit. Even with his overall mediocre play this year, Ben completed 7 game winning drives this past season, Steelers won a total of 9 games.
1. Graham Barton, C, Duke 2. Ricky Pearsall, WR, Florida 3. Blake Fisher, OT, Notre Dame 3. Max Melton, CB, Rutgers 4. Jeremiah Trotter, ILB, Clemson 6. Khristian Boyd, DT, Northern Iowa 6. MJ Devonshire, CB, Pittsburgh
Jim Kelly,Dan Marino
Terry Bradshaw
Eli Manning
Joe Greene,Rod Woodson,Franco Harris and others
Bill Cowher
Faneca,Mike Wallace,James Harrison,Tommy Maddox and many others!
Kenny Pickett is who I though he was .. Eagles problem now
It’s really cool to see all of those Pittsburgh legends congratulating Ben. And I include Jim Kelly and Dan Marino in that category as they are legends from Pittsburgh.
And it’s extra cool to know that all those legends will be there in 5 years to welcome him into the HOF.
I really hope Brady and Rodgers play for at least one more year so that Ben’s HOF year will really be mostly about Ben.
Yeah Ben was my favorite player and, I have enjoyed watching him for 18 years. He will be missed like so you many mentioned in above post and, think he was one of the toughest QB's I have ever seen in my 53 years. HOF bound and, I hope we don't have to wait another 20+ years for a good QB.
I thought it was hilarious whenever they'd show Jim Kelly's parents, they'd still root for the Steelers even though their son played for the other team. They'd be like "Go Steelers, just don't get hurt, Jim"

Definitely among the toughest QB's I've seen, along with Favre and Elway
It was almost 1 month ago and I don't know if it had been posted in this forum but interesting...
