Ben beats the Ravens in his regular season finale.
Not done yet. The Raiders and Chargers cannot tie.

Good thing Najee came back in the game, Good plays by PF and Fitz knocking the ball and brown off the field and Boz.

Just so happy for Ben to get that win over the Ravens. I'm realistic about our playoff chances.....but getting this win was the right thing to happen.....just the way it happened with Ben leading the drive for the win one more time! The football gods are good!

Ray Ray's punt return for the short drive to go up 13-10 was huge. Also, his 4th down catch for 1st down to keep the drive alive. He caught another longer one earlier as well.

I’ll be darned.
So how about this scenario as I look into my crystal ball:
Raiders get drubbed by the Chargers. Triggers a Black Monday purge in Vegas. And….Carr becomes the Steelers veteran “bridge” QB.
Also Steelers make the playoffs!!!
So happy for Ben. And that 4th down completion was so clutch, and such classic Ben.
I know we have very little chance of winning a playoff game, but still happy Ben gets to suit up one more time.

Ray Ray seems to have the want, Johnson do d a typical #1 disappearing act.
Ben, even at this point was clutch when he had to be, he banged several catchable passes off the hands today too.
Najee, nice return. You could tell he wanted that stiff arm back.
The Oline must have had money on Rats with Ceasar Sports book.
Defense held when they had too. Minkah with maybe a game saving play blowing Brown up on the sidelines
And last but not least BOZ!
Damn what a good game, go down in the classic Ravens Steelers games.
What a way to send Ben out of the Regular Season

Nice way to send Ben out. Probably not much a chance next week unless Chiefs get hit hard with covid - and I wouldn't want that (it's not like we are playing the Patriots).
Too bad the Chiefs didn't get the top seed I'd have actually felt some confidence against the Titans or Bills.

We would not be in the playoffs if Jax did not beat the Colts. I loved how Jax and Det both played to win today even though knowing that losing would guarantee the number 1 draft pick. Hermann Edward's would be happy.
JAX beats the Colts! Steelers are in.

Remember how “nobody wants to play the Colts in the playoffs”? Well everyone got their wish! I wouldn’t want to be a Colts fan today.

Thank you Jaguars and Trevor Lawrence.

I have to say, at this point this has been one of the more satisfying Steelers seasons of recent memory for me. I took a step back about mid-season and realized that the team has some glaring weaknesses this year, and there was no point in trying to place "blame" for the team having struggles. It's not just one thing thing that made most of this season an uphill climb for the team, but several things........so I stayed out of game day threads for the most part and just tried to enjoy watching the Steelers play. The team always fought hard, and they were not just going through the motions on the field. There were disappointing games (i.e., Bengals games, Minn, and Chiefs), but also some big time wins where the team gutted it and out and kept pushing till they got the victory, punctuated by today's victory. Today's game was one of the most satisfying and enjoyable non-playoff wins of the last decade for me.

That's a great attitude to have when you understand the circumstances of the team this year.
This is still a pretty good team when they are completely healthy. They just don't have the depth to overcome the injuries this season. In many ways, this is a very satisfying ending of the regular season. If Ben goes out, I will be happy if it's in the playoffs.

Ben is now alone in 2nd place all-time in game-winning drives:
Ben Roethlisberger completed his 57th game-winning drive (including playoffs) of his career, breaking a tie with Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning and Drew Brees for the second-most in the Super Bowl era.
