Colbert is 65 and might just be retiring to enjoy life. Good for him if that is the deal.
Khan, Hunt, Riddick, etc. Lots of good options going forward
I don't know how true this is. Hasn't Art II been the head honcho since 2002? I know Dan was still around, but Art was the one heading things up. Granted, I don't think he has the personal touch that Dan did, but he's still the one running the ship.

Gettleman is available…
2003. But since Dan passed away, he is majority owner as well. And, it seems that in the last few years as the influence of Dan Rooney waned and then was gone, ownership has taken a much more active role in directing the team, which is not how it was done in the past. Th only time I remember the Rooneys (supposedly) stepping in and telling coaches what to do when it came to hiring, firing, and/or coaching was in the late 1980s when they told Noll to fire five of his coaches (well, four, and the resignation of Tony Dungy). And, even that was denied by Dan Rooney.
I still remember HTG warning everyone that the Steelers will not be the same once Art II ran the show. She had some interactions with him in the legal field and came away with a pretty bad impression, IIRC.
Dan Morgan is going to be a good GM.
If a team signs Omar Khan away, we get a R3 comp this draft and another R3 comp next draft.
I'm not sure that it is worth it, but it is indeed a significant compensation.
Yes, and remember all the hate he got for trading away what was going to be a great draft pick that should have been used for a QB on Fitzpatrick? Hilarious.
We also need to remember that the difference between Tre Norwood and Gerod Holliman as 7th round safety picks, is a good choice vs a poor choice. But at least Colbert maximized what he could get in those deals.
