I don't watch much college ball (mainly due to the aforementioned talent disparity between the handful of college teams who are basically NFL minor league affiliates and everyone else), but I certainly got an inkling today as to why the upcoming crop of QBs in the draft is being called weak...
Sure, but Tennessee vs Purdue was a great game to watch. Same with the Ok State comeback vs Notre Dame.
The best thing the playoff does IMO is take teams like Cincinatti who want to claim they are awesome due to their record and make them realize they arent National Championship material. Prior to the playoff, those unbeaten teams will be claiming they should have been #1 in the media.
