    The coaching is pathetic.

But yeah. The coaches are totally causing it.

Player mistakes have put 14 points on the board for KC.

    Bad throw by QB
    BAD tackle by Spillane.
Look at the designs of the plays and how they are run. One team in an NFL prepared team. Other is just far from it…lol.

    Disagree.

Defenders were in position to make key stops. Failure to execute and penalties prevented that.

Plays are there on offense but the offensive line can’t block and the QB can’t deliver the mail.

Is this a bunch of coaching geniuses? Nope.

But no one could make this roster look good. It’s catastrophically flawed.

    That’s why it’s called a rebuild.

And save him for what? The playoffs? The only thing the Steelers have to play for at this point is getting him DPOY. Maybe he can dong his way to another sack when the Chiefs put in their back up QB in the 4th quarter.

The only way they stay with the chiefs is if they let Ben take over the play calling.

I think we’re already in 4 down territory. Sure our offense is bad but punting to their offense ensures another TD drive for them. If we take all four downs to get a first down at least there’s a chance of it working.

Romo's gusts only seem to happen when Ben is throwing it. The wind doesn't appear to be an issue when Mahomes is throwing. Damn home town weather!

Would you lay any blame on coaching? Serious question.

I see occasionally other staffs prepare a game plan that surprises an opponent. Sometimes prepare a scrub player for the game of their life.

Never ever has anyone on this Steelers staff surprised or out coached anyone

    What scheme could they do?

Steelers do impressive schematic things all the time, particularly on defense, when they have the horses.

Last 3 plays. No scheme corrects the fact that Spillane is athletically overmatched and can’t shed blocks.

The sad thing is getting embarrassed today will do absolutely nothing to change anything next week.

We have a few very good players. I honestly thought we had more but we don’t. We are just bad and it hurts. We can’t outcoach anyone and we can only occasionally outplay someone for a quarter of a game. But we have no business talking about a playoff scenario. We’re playing a playoff team. This is what that looks like. And the Chiefs are without one of their best weapons that they will have in the playoffs.

They are the ones that let Spillane be here to not make plays.

But doesn't you see anything creative to try and cover up lack of specific talent. Any shcemes that seem to rely less in Spokane and more on the real talent ton this team. Nah just trot out the same lousy BS every week hope other coaches haven't watched your tape

Damn that wind that is killing Ben disappeared again during their 44 yard FG.

Reality is, this is just not a good team. Good players, but not a good team. Likely nothing will change any time soon. Buckle up.

What can you do when you have zero playmakers up front in the center of your defense? There’s no coaching magic that can cover up for the fact that your ILBs are terrible. It’s a 3-4. If your ILBs can’t make plays, there’s NOTHING to make up for it.

To top it off, Mondeaux, Davis, Adams, and anyone not named Heyward are simply borderline NFL caliber players at best. No amount of scheme can stop them from getting turned out of holes and moved backwards.

The ONE thing you could do is crash your safeties down hard. Good luck with that against Mahomes.

Romo is trying to carry Ben but it’s a bit ridiculous.

As much as I love Najee, he just doesn't have that explosive gear like a Dalvin Cook.

Playing against a team that plays press man coverage on wideouts...why call a WR screen that has no chance of success?

Look in not a coach I don't even pretend to understand that crap the strategy. But I've seen other teams completely change their defense . Maybe we're so fucked we swap to a 4-3 try some crap. Dammit don't just rinse and repeat every week. Identify your talent and run defense that works even if its just for a series
